Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Rehab Manager for Santa Monica Christian Towers. This role supports a large-scale rehabilitation of an occupied 162-unit high-rise community. The Senior Rehab Manager serves as the primary liaison between development, management, construction teams, and residents, with a strong focus on communication, coordination, oversight and reporting throughout the renovation process. They will work closely with the Property Manager.

Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Development, ownership, construction partners, onsite operations, and residents during rehabilitation.
- Oversee and monitor rehabilitation progress, schedules, and operational impacts, escalating risks or delays as appropriate.
- Lead clear, timely resident communication regarding construction schedules, unit access, temporary relocations, and return timelines.
- Coordinate and manage unit access in collaboration with construction and site staff to ensure project timelines are maintained.
- Coordinate resident relocation activities, including interviews, notices, movers, lodging, transportation, and required documentation, while maintaining accurate relocation files, compliance records, and resident communications
- Attend regular project meetings and maintain awareness of construction schedules and operational impacts.
- Prepare and provide frequent written reports to development on resident status, relocation progress, and identified risks.
- Monitor site safety, unit protection, and resident impact during construction, escalating concerns as needed.
Experience and Skills:
Location
- High School diploma/GED required. College degree or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience preferred.
- Five (5) years' solid experience coordinating development, management, construction experience.
- Two (2) years’ solid management experience in hospitality, hotel or apartment community experience (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Section 8 and/or Tax Credit affordable housing programs preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office required. Yardi preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
